Advanced Spanish Language Conversation

The course offers conversational practice for advanced students.  Classes are student-centered: The teaching assistant acts as a facilitator. A wider range of vocabulary will be acquired as different course activities are developed in class. All class sessions will be conducted exclusively in Spanish.

A practical session will focus on conversational practice and listening. In order to do this, various communicative activities revolving around abstract topics are to be employed. These activities will require the use of advanced level grammatical forms. Also, through these communicative activities, there will be opportunities for revision, clarification and analysis of grammar points. Some of the grammar points to be seen are past tenses, conditional sentences, and the subjunctive.
