Privado: Tradition, Architecture and Territory in Peru

Housing and Meals

Our typical day starts at 8:00 am. Breakfast is self-served in the hotel dining room. We leave for the field around 9:00 am, and work until 1:00pm. At 3:00 the work will resume, and the information will be systematized and gathered in graphics and plans until 6:00pm. Afterwards, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, professors and special guests will revise the progress, and conferences and lectures will take place.

The field work will be taking place on a small urban area such as the historical center of Cusco, that can be comfortably walked in approximately fifteen minutes. High altitude might be a problem, so students are encouraged to walk slowly the first few days, eat lightly and drink plenty of liquids.
